xplorer dies with a SIGABRT. I tried rebuilding it with the ports system, but on one machine 
it failed to build and on the other it built but still doesn't work.

since I don't expect this bug will be fixed soon, I created a replacement for xplorer, the x file explorer (xfe). See [[bugs:updates]].
