Here you can find useful tips and hints for applications that are known to run on DeLi 0.8 but are not included in the repository for any reason. The hints will not be tested or verified by the admins, so just check them out and report any problems/experiences in the forum.
w3m
- application type : text-modus webbroser / html viewer
- additional libraries needed : none
- compiler option needed : none
- hints : as w3m doesn't follow the usual scheme and does the configuration interactively during the installation, it is not possible to make a pacman compatible package from the sources; therefore w3m is not registered in the pacman database and cannot be managed by pacman
- performance : compiles and runs without any problems
