When selecting TinyX and then Xfbdev:

1. the link /usr/bin/X still points to Xvesa
2. /usr/bin/startx still has a 'mode' setting in it (delisetup, correctly, does not ask you to select a video mode, when you select Xfbdev)

I have tried selecting a few other Xservers - the link does not get updated, mode in startx seems correct

Workaround:

Create link and edit startx manually
