DeLi Linux 0.7.2 is the next and possibly the last release in the 0.7.x branch. DeLi Linux 0.7.2 have the following new features

• Linux Kernel 2.4.34.4
• XOrg 7.2
• A new default web browser, Konq-E (Konqueror Embedded)which has javascript and CSS support
• The pdq print system, which replaces lprng
• Improved and bug fixed delisetup, deliget and netinstall
• Other new packages includes nano, gutenprint, gv and xaw3d and the new Liberation fonts from RedHat

DeLi Linux is a Linux distribution made for old hardware. Machines from 386 to Pentium II with 8 to 64 MB RAM are considered as target systems. DeLi Linux uses lightweight software wherever it is possible. Nevertheless DeLi Linux provides a graphical Desktop with an office package, web browser, e-mail client, pdf viewer and games. But of course there are also the usual tools for console and development tools, like gcc 3.3.6 and perl. A full installation of DeLi Linux needs not more then 350 MB hard disk space.

• Console only: i386 system with 8 MB RAM
• Graphical desktop: i486 system with 16 MB RAM
• Full featured graphical Desktop with Firefox, spreadsheet, multimedia player: Pentium with 32 MB RAM

DeLi Linux 0.7.2 ist das nächste und möglicherweise letzte Release der 0.7.x Reihe. DeLi Linux 0.7.2 hat die folgenden neuen Features:

• Unter den anderen neuen Paketen sind nano, gutenprint, gv, xaw3d und die neuen Liberation Fonts von RedHat

DeLi Linux ist eine Distribution für alte Hardware. Als Zielsysteme kommen 386er bis Pentium II mit 8 bis 64 MB RAM in Betracht. DeLi Linux benutzt “leichtgewichtige” Software wo immer es möglich ist. Trotzdem bietet DeLi Linux einen grafischen Desktop mit einem Office Paket, Webbrowser, E-Mail Programm, PDF Betrachter und Spiele. Aber natürlich gibt es auch die üblichen Konsole-Tools und Entwicklungs-Werkzeuge wie gcc 3.3.6 und Perl. Eine Vollinstallation von DeLi Linux benötigt nicht mehr als 350 MB Plattenplatz.
